  1. Kia ora Waereti,

My name is Olive and I’m one of the new blog commentators in the Kaikohekohe cluster this summer! I’m working the Teaser Week and I’m super excited to see all your blog activities!

Congratulations on completing your first blog post! I love the enthusiasm you’ve shown in completing not one, but two activities! I’m looking forward to reading them both!

It’s great to learn more about Fiao’o Fa’amausili! She’s such a strong female role model. I really appreciate that you’ve included some extra information about Fiao’o, it really shows you’re pushing yourself in your learning! I think it’s awesome how you’ve made your simile relate to Fiao’o, you really describe her character well! I’m sure she’d have a big smile if she could see your blog post!

In the activity description, it says to describe why you disagree or agree with the gender gap. I think you’re off to a strong start but to get full points you’ll need to add another sentence or two to make your argument stronger. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask me in the comment section - just reply to my comment!

Thank you for your great blog post and have fun completing the rest of the activities.

Feel free to check out my blog and get to know me a little better!

  2. Kia ora Waereti,

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great holiday so far :)

My name is Tayla and I am the Cluster Manager for the Summer Learning Journey in Kaikohekohe. I just wanted to pop in and say that it’s not too late to start the programme! You can find the activities here: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities

You can do any of the activities, so take a look at some of the options. I’m sure there will be something that you’ll find interesting to learn about.

I hope I get to read some of your work!

    Ngā mihi,
    Tayla
